Providing the Freshest Seafood for Over 30 Years
Seafood Bazaar is family owned and started as the retail supply option for a successful wholesale seafood business already serving local restaurants, cafes, caterers, takeaways, and supermarkets with the freshest New Zealand and imported seafood. In 1996, we expanded to a dedicated standalone building with a larger range and an onsite takeaway kitchen.
Our onsite chef crafts daily delicacies such as smoked fish pie, seafood salads, and salmon lasagne — treats you can always expect when you visit Seafood Bazaar. In 2020, we launched our home delivery website to bring fresh seafood to North Island homes, delivering what locals have loved for years.
All fresh seafood is sourced from New Zealand waters, with boats arriving regularly at ports nationwide. Seasonal favourites like Bluff Oysters, New Zealand Scallops, and Whitebait appear alongside premium Tuna and Swordfish from the Pacific Islands, plus quality frozen seafood from around the world — offering almost everything you need.
Seafood Bazaar operates under an MPI-approved Risk Management Programme ensuring safe handling, and all fresh seafood is processed in an export-approved facility. Our fish is sustainably caught, following the Quota Management System to protect seafood stocks for future generations.
